Born and raised in Portland, ME and being a child of Somali immigrants has deeply influenced her perspective and drive to make a difference in her community.
Deeqa’s dedication extends to advocating for families in the Lewiston and Auburn Area, where she works to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard. Deeqa is currently finishing up her degree in Social Work and is planning on utilizing the skills to make an impact in the community.
