Tree Street Youth’s M.A.P.L.E. Teen Leadership Program (Motivated Adolescents Pursuing Leadership Experiences) provides middle school and high school youth the opportunity to achieve their highest potential, academically and emotionally, while developing strong leadership and professional skills that aid them in their lives beyond secondary education. StriveLeaders and Teen Volunteers during the academic year, coupled with Squad, Street and TeamLeaders, during the summer provides youth with unique professional, academic, and leadership skills.
During the academic year, M.A.P.L.E. hires 10-14 StriveLeaders who work throughout the academic year mentoring, supporting, and encouraging K-5th grade youth during the after school program. They will also be required to attend tutoring sessions, one-on-one check-ins with program staff, and leadership meetings once a week. StriveLeaders are given a weekly stipend for completing all requirements of the program.
